Climease: test infrastructure and observability upgrade
Climease brokers track factory-supplier relationships. Technical debt blocked safe upgrades. We added automated tests in GitLab CI, upgraded Angular stack, fixed noisy Grafana alerts and integrated DamienHarper audit for entity change history.
Client context
Climease Angular + Symfony platform had no automated tests and stale dependencies. Concurrent edits collided silently; backup and CI failures surfaced late amid alert fatigue.
Challenge
Estimate modernization cost safely; give brokers a supplier-factory status screen; know who changed what and when.
What we did
- Vitest (Angular) and PHPUnit suites integrated into GitLab CI on every MR.
- Full Angular dependency upgrade (release pending at case collection).
- Grafana rule cleanup: ~50-60 daily alerts down to ~5-6 actionable ones; Velero/Restic monitoring.
- DamienHarper Auditor Bundle + custom event audit UI.
- New broker dashboard page with interactive factory-supplier blocks.
